To go along with the frog theme, I knit Mini Man a frog for Christmas.
I used the book Little Knitted Creatures book for the pattern.
I was a little iffy on the eyes, but am happy with how they turned out. One is a little larger than the other, and the hole in the middle (where the doll eye slipped through) was too big so they didn't stay on and had to be stitched on with thread. But I think they look cute.
I also decided to use blue, rather than light green yarn for the contrast rows in the arms and legs.
I made this for Mini Man for Christmas, but Little Man seized it soon after it was unwrapped. He has been playing with it more than Mini Man.

ReplyDeleteUhhh, it's a little-known fact (Cliff Claven from "Cheers") that generally, people have one eye larger than the other, but it's only prominent in a small percentage of people.
